1. Controller and contact

The controller is TAURO LAB S.R.L., VAT no. 13527620010, with registered office at Via Alfonso Lamarmora 31, 10128 Turin, Italy. For any request about your personal data and to exercise your rights, write to info@taurolab.com. The controller has not appointed a data protection officer, as none of the cases in Article 37 GDPR apply.

2. Scope

This notice covers the public taurolab.com website, in Italian and English, and is provided under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The product websites linked from the menu, the client websites shown in the portfolio, the social profiles and the private area linked from the footer are separate systems with their own notices: read them before using them.

3. What this website does

The website is made of static pages. It has no sign-up or user login, uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools, embeds no videos, maps, chat or third-party content, and loads fonts, images and scripts only from its own domain. The interactive tools on the service pages (calculators, Google result preview, social plan, table from Excel) run only in your browser: what you type is neither saved nor sent to us. The form on the Contact page, on the other hand, sends what you write to the info@taurolab.com mailbox, as explained in section 5.

4. Browsing data

When you open a page, your browser sends the hosting service the technical data needed to deliver it: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and operating system. The website is published on Firebase Hosting, a Google service (Google LLC, United States, and its European affiliates), which processes this data to deliver and protect the service, including against abuse, and keeps it for a few months according to its privacy documentation (firebase.google.com/support/privacy). We add no analytics tools and do not use this data to identify you.

5. When you write or call us

If you write to info@taurolab.com, including through the form or the buttons on the website, we process your email address, your name, what you tell us and the figures from the interactive tools if you choose to include them in the message. When you use the form on the Contact page, the name, email and message you enter, together with the page language and the date, are sent by the website to the info@taurolab.com mailbox through a Google Firebase cloud function running in the European Union (europe-west1 region, in Belgium) and the Google Workspace mail server; the website keeps no copy of them in a database of its own. To protect the form against abuse, the function counts the submissions from each IP address only in its own memory, and Google Cloud's technical logs record the date, time, IP address and outcome of the request, without the content of the message. If you call the number shown, we process the calling number and what you tell us, for as long as needed to reply. We use this data only to respond, prepare a quote or a demo and, if a relationship follows, manage it. Do not include data that is not needed for your request, in particular health data or other special categories of data.

6. Legal bases

Operation and security of the website, including protecting the form against abuse: the controller's legitimate interest in running a working, protected website (Article 6(1)(f)). Replies to information requests, quotes and demos: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b)) and, for other kinds of requests, our legitimate interest in replying (point (f)). Accounting and tax obligations, if a contract follows: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). The website does not process data on the basis of consent, because it uses no cookies and no services that require it: the box to tick in the form on the Contact page only confirms that you have read this notice.

7. Recipients

Data may be known to TAURO LAB S.R.L.'s authorised staff and to providers acting as processors under Article 28 GDPR: Google, for publishing the website (Firebase Hosting), for the function that forwards the messages from the form (Cloud Functions for Firebase) and for business email (Google Workspace). Data may also be processed by consultants and professionals assisting the controller, for example for accounting, and by the authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell or pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

8. Transfers outside the European Union

Google is also based in the United States and delivers the pages through its own network of servers, which may be located outside the European Economic Area. Transfers take place with the safeguards of Articles 44 and following of the GDPR: the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, and the standard contractual clauses contained in the Google Cloud data processing terms. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards applied by writing to info@taurolab.com.

9. Retention

Technical browsing data stays with the hosting provider for the period indicated in section 4. Emails, messages and phone calls are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any follow-up; if the request does not lead to a contract, they are deleted at the latest 12 months after the last contact. Messages from the form on the Contact page are kept only in the info@taurolab.com mailbox and follow the same rules as emails; the count of submissions per IP address stays only in the function's memory and expires after one hour; the function's technical logs stay in Google Cloud for 30 days. If a contract follows, data is kept for its whole duration and then for the statutory periods, in particular ten years for accounting and tax records (Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).

10. Your rights

Within the limits of the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests (Articles 15-22). Write to info@taurolab.com: we reply within one month, extendable in the cases provided for in Article 12. If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, Italy), or bring a claim before the courts.

11. Provision of data, automated decisions and minors

Browsing does not require you to provide any data. Writing to us is your choice: without contact details we cannot reply. We use no automated decision-making or profiling (Article 22). The website is aimed at businesses and professionals and does not knowingly collect data from children under 14.

12. External links

The website contains links to third-party sites: our products, the client websites in the portfolio, the Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles, the sources cited in the articles and, on the Websites page, Google's PageSpeed Insights tool, which opens with the address you typed. Those sites are contacted only when you open them and process data under their own notices.

13. Changes

This notice is updated as of 4 November 2026. If the website's services change, for example with the addition of analytics tools, we will update it first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
